2. Information we collect

Information you give us. When you send a quote request, you choose what to submit. This can include your name, organization, email address, phone number, event type, date, time, venue and setting, the services you are interested in, and any other details you write in the form.

Information collected automatically. The form system records the page address and referring page for each submission. We do not store your IP address with form submissions. Our hosting and security systems may process IP addresses and basic technical data such as browser type and pages requested, for operating and protecting the website.

Email. If you email us directly, we receive your email address and what you write.

3. How we use your information

We use quote information to respond to your inquiry, prepare quotes, and coordinate event services you ask for. We use hosting and security data to run and protect the website. We do not use quote submissions for marketing emails or newsletters, and we do not sell your information.

4. Service providers and who can see your information

• WordPress / 10Web hosts the website and processes and stores form submissions.
• Microsoft 365 delivers quote notifications to our business email, so a copy of each submission is held in our mailbox.

We share information only with the providers listed above, which help us run the site and handle your request, or where the law requires it. We do not connect quote data to marketing lists.

5. How long we keep information

We keep quote submissions stored on the website for 24 months. We apply this by reviewing submissions periodically by hand and deleting those older than 24 months. Deletion is not automatic. Email copies in our Microsoft 365 mailbox, website backups and other records may be kept on separate schedules, and they may not be deleted at the same time as the website entry. We may keep information longer where needed to complete an engagement, meet legal or accounting duties, or resolve a dispute.

6. Security

We use reasonable measures to protect information, including access limited to authorized people and hosting-provider security. No website or email system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send payment card numbers or other sensitive information through the quote form.

7. Your privacy choices and rights

You can ask us to tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Whether you have additional privacy rights, such as the right to know, delete or correct personal information, depends on applicable law, including California privacy law, and on your circumstances. To make a request, email miguel@theavrentalcompany.com from the address you used, with a description of your request. We may need to verify your identity. We will respond as required by applicable law. Records held in email or backups may follow separate retention schedules and may take longer to remove.

8. Children

This website is for event planners, businesses, schools and organizations, and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

9. Links to other websites

If the site links to another website, that site has its own privacy practices, which we do not control.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date shows the latest version.
